The criminal case against Daanbantayan Mayor Maria Luisa Loot has been sleeping at the Third Division of the Sandiganbayan for over a year now since the issuance of warrant of arrest and posting of P30,000 bail by the accused for graft charge sometime in November last year.


The Sandiganbayan seemed to be ignoring the endorsements from Supreme Court Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban and from the Department of Justice Assistant Secretary Teresita Reyes-Domingo, according to the complainant of the case Jeronimo Cosido.
