Cabalutangan bested practical shooters from the United States, Australia, Brazil, Czechoslovakia, Italy, France and host South Africa to win the ladies division title.

The country also won the ladies category three years back courtesy of Athena Lee.

Sharing the limelight with Cabalutangan are countrymen Jag Lejano, Jay Morales, Roland Tan and Danny Torrevillas, who teamed up in ruling the modified section.
