Police said Antonio Javelino, 70, a resident of Bago Bantay, Quezon City, along with his son, Jonathan, 31, visited his daughter in Barangay Panginay here last Thursday and decided to stay overnight.

At about 2 a.m., Philip Ong, Javelino’s son-in-law, told probers noise coming from the guestroom awakened him. When he opened the door, he said he saw Jonathan stabbing the old man.
