                    [Summary] => Sen. Ramon Revilla was cleared yesterday of any wrongdoing for having accepted a Mitsubishi Pajero from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).


Public Works and Highways Secretary Simeon Datumaong said Revilla needs the Pajero to speed up his inspection of various government projects.


"The car was issued in his capacity as chairman of the Senate committee on  public works," he said. "I see nothing unusual about that."


However, DPWH insiders told The STAR yesterday Revilla is not yet off the hook.
