                    [Summary] => A 45-year-old man, who was playing Russian roulette with his homemade caliber .38 revolver accidentally shot and killed himself late Friday afternoon in Makati City.


Police Officer 2 Noel Pardinas, of the Makati City police-Homicide Division, said the victim, Wildomar Bayitas, 45, of 4050 Laperal Compound, Barangay Guadalupe Viejo died from a gunshot wound in the jaw. He was not drunk.


Inspector Florante Jose, Homicide Division chief, said the victim, said to be an ex-convict, uses the alias Eduardo Bautista. However, police did not know why he was sent to prison.

                    [Summary] => Two members of the Philippine National Police were shot and killed allegedly by a vengeful neighbor the other night in Makati City.


Makati police identified the victims as brothers SPO2 Eduardo Merano, 51 and PO3 Noel Merano, 48, both residing at 2706 Ma. Aurora St. Barangay Poblacion, Makati City.


The elder Merano was a member of the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s Task Force Katapat-II while his younger brother was assigned at the Western Police District.
