To prove that his ultimatum was not a mere threat, Manila Police District (MPD) acting director Senior Superintendent Danilo Abarzosa has relieved six commanders of police community precincts found remiss on their jobs.


"Aside from having poor performance ratings, the relief of the six officials and the designation of the new set of precinct commanders is in line with the MPD’s thrust of further improving the efficiency of the police in public trust and service," Abarzosa told The STAR.
