[Title] => Trying to make sense
[Summary] => Believe it or not, I am a logical person. I have argued long and hard that sex is not the same as gender. Maybe once when sex and homosexuality were hidden or "in the closet," it was all right to have just one to connote sex and gender but now that both are out of the closet and turning somersaults, surely we should differentiate. Sex should refer to the act and gender should refer to the classification of the persons engaged in it. This way we give flesh to the pronouns she and he.
