Two Sundays ago in an exclusive one-on-one with Conversations with Ricky Lo, INXS drummer Jon Farriss, when asked how new member J.D. Fortune (discovered in a 12-week search on the CBS reality-TV show Rock Star: INXS to replace soloist Michael Hutchence who died under mysterious circumstances in l997) is blending into the group, said, "He’s good; he’s really good. He’s blending very well into a band that has been together for many years, that has been touring for nearly 30 years.

INXS, one of the most popular bands in the history of Australian pop music is arriving for a concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Aug. 15. I am sure most of you recall some of the many hits INXS came up with during its peak years in the ‘80s up to the ‘90s. Remember Original Sin, which seems to play and play in your head forever? What about I Need You Tonight?
The switch is now official. The release of the album, also titled Switch, names Canadian J.D. Fortune as part of the Australian band INXS alongside guitarist Andrew Farriss, guitarist Tim Farriss, drummer Jon Farriss, bassist Garry Beers and guitarist, sax player and vocalist Kirk Pengilly. All of you music lovers out there doubtless recall the Rock Star INXS reality show that aired on Star World some months ago. You also doubtless remember Fortune.
