We received several inquiries last week regarding the possible impact on the stock market of the newly uncovered but thwarted terrorist plots in the UK. The obvious answer is that this will weigh down on market sentiment for sure. But then again, this is not the first time that the world will be dealing with a (potential) non-economic catastrophe. In our article entitled "Resilience of Markets" (see Philequity Corner, July 24, 2006), we pointed out that markets have generally been resilient and have always found basis to recover.
