The Cultural Center of the Philippines celebrated its 44th anniversary by staging another “random act of culture” at Baclaran Church. More than 300 choir members headed by the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers surprised churchgoers with a song-and-dance act that filled the choir lofts, aisles and altar of the iconic Baclaran Church. They sang and danced to Ryan Cayabyab’s Hibang sa Awit after the Wednesday noon Mass.
