As part of the weeklong birthday celebration of Mandaluyong City Mayor Neptali Gonzales II , the local government will start its "Operation: I Care" project to fully extend free medical and surgical services to Mandaluyong residents.


"Operation: I Care" aims to provide free major and minor operations to bonafide residents who have been properly screened by the Mandaluyong City Medical Center (MCMC).

Residents of the city, mostly the less fortunate families, depend on the health centers for their medical needs. In a day, some 250 or more residents, depending on the population in each community, flock to the health centers located in various barangays.
