The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines may take up the 'Gloria Resign' proposal due to the bribery attempt on some local officials.

CBCP public affairs chairman Caloocan bishop Deogracias Iñiguez Jr. said they might discuss this in the next assembly.

Iñiguez, is one of the three bishops asking Mrs. Arroyo to step down after her administration continues to be hounded by scandals that started with the National Boradband Netowrk deal and most recent the birbery attempt during a meeting at the Palace.
