It may not necessarily be true. But the New People’s Army in Negros Oriental last week served notice that they would disarm and "engage" armed goons during the election campaign.


And the Leonardo Panaligan Command also sent to the Army’s 303rd Infantry Brigade the ID of George Nataa, purportedly a CAFGU from Zamboanga del Sur. He was one of those killed in the March 9 ambush of the "armed goons" of a local politician led by La Libertad barangay captain Lydio Baylon of Negros Oriental.
