Simula sa Enero 2007 ay makakatanggap na ng refund ang mga consumer ng Manila Electric Company (Meralco) bilang pagsunod sa utos ng Supreme Court (SC) na ibalik ang inaprubahang dagdag singil ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) mula Hunyo-Agosto, 2004.


"Meralco’s refund will be reflected in the bill of the customers starting January 2007. The refund will be spread over three (3) months considering that the refundable GRAM amount was likewise incurred for three (3) months," pahayag ni ERC Chairman at CEO Rodolfo B. Albano, Jr.
