                    [Summary] => The National Agricultural and Fishery Council (NAFC), an attached agency of the Department of Agriculture (DA), recently launched its P25-million "Organikong Abono, Tulong sa Magsasakang Pilipino Project," aimed at helping farmers beat the rising cost of petroleum-based fertilizers by using more organic fertilizers.  


Mamerto E. Ellorin, NAFC executive director, said the amount will be sourced from Japan’s 2KR program and will complement the DA’s "Tipid Abono" fertilization program.
