[Title] => A better alternative
[Summary] => The modified version of the "color coding" scheme that came out after weeks of experimentation and endless flak aimed at the MMDA, in the absence of anything better, is indeed a better alternative for private car owners. At least they now have a daily window to use their vehicles even on days that they are banned from the streets of the metro.

[Title] => EO on used car importation ban a farce?
[Summary] => Word is strong in the automotive industry that the government has finally turned its "listening ear" to the plight of local car manufacturers on the wanton importation of second hand vehicles. The belief is further strengthened by newspaper accounts of a draft E.O.

[Title] => An obsolete solution
[Summary] => "Change is constant and the only thing that doesnt change is change itself."
The traffic reduction scheme that bans vehicles with certain number-endings has had its useful days. Its era is past and is now obsolete.
We suggest we scrap it now as we give recognition to its usefulness when it was relevant. Nobody will say that it was a failure for it was not.
But to insist now that its still relevant and go on implementing it would now make it a failure.
