                    [Summary] => BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — The Department of Justice (DOJ) has dismissed the murder charges filed against a former provincial board member and five others in connection with last year’s fatal shooting of a former US Navy serviceman. 


Cleared of the charges were former board member Clemente Bacani, businessmen Jolly Zapata, former barangay chairman Sidioc Uy, Melonie Bacani-Afalla, Bacani’s sister and estranged wife of the victim, Henry Afalla, and two John Does. 


The Bacani siblings are now both residing in the Unites States.
