A messenger who witnessed an ongoing robbery was shot dead by one of the crime’s perpetrators Tuesday night in Parañaque City, police said yesterday.


The fatality was identified as Flobert Mercadal, 26, of Francis Street, Maricban, Pasay. He was an employee of Fast Pack Global, a courier service company.


He died on the spot from a gunshot wound in the chest, case investigator PO2 Arthur Encallado of the Parañaque police Criminal Investigation Division (CID) said.
