Usman’s relatives told The STAR Usman "has connections with the MILF and he will get protection if he hides in any area where there are any MILF rebels." 


Because of the ceasefire between the MILF and the government, Usman would be assured of safe refuge should he be in the protection of the MILF, Central Mindanao local officials also said.
