MANILA, Philippines - Pawnshops are not lending investors. The Supreme Court (SC) has said this in exempting pawnshops from the five percent lending investor’s tax under the Tax Code.

Catabas, however, refused to divulge the names of the two suspects. "I will withhold their names first but they will be divulged tomorrow once we file the case," Catabas said.
