This was lesson learned too late by a 27-year-old man whose shotgun went off while he was toying with it yesterday, fatally hitting his 28-year-old wife in the head.
Elsie Salvatierra said her brother Jerson and his wife Beverly, who had just arrived from a neighbors wedding reception, were teasing each other inside their house in Barangay Almaguer South here, while Jerson played with his shotgun.
She said Jerson accidentally pulled the trigger while he jokingly aimed the gun at his wife.
