The Philippines is sending four brilliant minds to participate in the prestigious Asian Science Camp (ASC), which will be held in Jerusalem, Israel from August 26-30. The conference, which has been promoting young scientists from all over Asia and the Pacific, will gather three hundred young geniuses and it will include John Keith Velasquez Magali, Shereyl Aguirre Daguinod, Rovi Angelo Beloya Villaos, and Nicole Dayanghirang Olayres of the University of the Philippines-Los Banos. They are headed by faculty adviser, Mr. Lou Serafin Lozada.

The five-year Phase II or MRDP will cost $120 million while the first phase, completed last year, cost an estimated P950 million. The entire MRDP will be implemented over a period of 15 years.
