One hundred thirty players are seeing action in the event with pressure on the match play qualifiers who will vie for the Golfer of the Year title. Fifteen players each for five divisions will eliminate each other in the four-series match play to end in playoff in December.  

For the monthly tournament, play will be under the stroke play format.

Lopez beat Gutsy Tuason, 9-6, 9-5, 9-5, while Lecaros humbled Junnie Bagadiong, 9-0, 9-3, 9-2.
