[Summary] => With just 10 months to go before the general elections, and five months before presidential aspirants file their certificates of candidacy, you’d think Filipinos would be patient enough to await changes in the political firmament. Instead we have been treated to a mutiny, then to the usual antics of the clowns in Congress, plus a week of hysterical text messages and rumors about supposed coup plots.

[Title] => Cayetano eager to return, says De Castro
[Summary] => Sen. Renato Cayetano was in high spirits and was eager to return and resume his legislative work in the chamber, Sen. Noli de Castro said yesterday after a long telephone conversation with his ailing colleague.

Cayetano is currently in southern California waiting for a matching liver donation after tests showed his body was bound to reject any liver donation from his family.

De Castro said Cayetano sounded upbeat on returning immediately "although his voice has already changed."
