The rich and diverse culture of France is set to be celebrated here in the Philippines this month. Spearheaded by the tireless French Ambassador Renee Veyret and her efficient staff at the French Embassy in cooperation with the Alliance Francaise de Manille and Association Francaise d’Action Artistique, the French Spring in Manila will hold a series of performances in theater, music, dance, visual arts and cinema at various venues around the metro.

The Festival opens on June 1 at the RCBC auditorium with two world-class musicians unleashing their "insanity" onstage. In Duel, pianist Paul Staica and cellist Laurent Cirade will show off their skills through comic, rib-tickling antics.
