CABANATUAN CITY – At least P56.28 billion worth of projects, were approved by the national government under President Arroyo’s North Luzon Agribusiness Quadrangle (NLAQ) Super Region program.


Director Roy Imperial, head of the NLAQ Project Management Office (PMO), told The STAR that the 19 projects will be carried out until to 2011, the biggest of which are the Agno River Integrated Irrigation Project (ARIIP) and the Salomague Port in Pangasinan and Ilocos Norte, respectively, worth P7.9 billion each.
