"If you’re going to ask me, I’m 90 percent sure Malacanang will reverse the GAB decision which declared the PBL as a professional league," Sy told The Star.

commissioner of the Philippine Basketball League (PBL), filling the position

and Boom Detergents team owner Dioseldo Sy was elected as chairman, succeeding
Chowking's Robert Kuan.
Welcoat's Raymond Yu was elected vice chairman while Ana's Rudy Mendoza, Boom's
