[Title] => La Salle rips SSC, nears Shakeys V-League crown
[Summary] => De La Salle defused Thai import Jaroensri Bualee with a fine defensive job upfront as it scored a 25-23, 25-13, 25-22 victory yesterday and took a step closer to its third straight championship in the V-League presented by Shakeys at the Blue Eagle Gym.
The Lady Archers threw a two-, three-player defense on the power-hitting Bualee, who averaged in the 20s before the finals but was held to just 17 hits in a game that hardly looked like a championship match.
"We managed to neutralize Bualee, that was one of the keys," said La Salle coach Ramil de Jesus.
