Datu Paglas was not anointed by Malacañang and knowing how elections are held in that region, that just about wraps up his candidacy. The last time around, cheating was so efficient, to the point that Datu Paglas lost in his own town of Datu Paglas. I’ve been in that town and I know they love him there and there is no way he could lose an election there.

                    [Summary] => COTABATO CITY – Maguin-danao’s political community is urging President Estrada to work out the resumption of peace talks with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) before next year’s elections.


Maguindanao Gov. Zacaria Candao, chairman of the Provincial Peace and Order Council, said the peace talks should resume even before the election period, which starts with the filing of certificates of candidacy in December.
