                    [Title] => Succulent kusamono
                    [Summary] => Recently, the Cactus and Succulent Society was treated to a kusamono display by Fely Gupit, one of the premier horticultural collectors in the country. Fely also has probably the best bonsai collection in the country today. We had a wonderful afternoon touring and enjoying her garden of bonsai. Many of her specimens are award-winners, not just in the Philippines but also in Japan, the hub of bonsai itself. Also on display in her garden were some of her cacti and succulents.

                    [Summary] => Last Sunday, we had our second Cactus & Succulent Society meeting for the year. Chit Rufo and Sally Obien hosted the event at the Manila Seedling Bank in Quezon City. We had a decent turnout with about 30 members attending. What was especially gratifying for me was seeing all the new members joining the society, including some from out of town, like Jefferson Patiag who came all the way from Nueva Ecija just to attend our meeting. What was even better was the impact the new members had that day.
