The 15-year-old Dandan beat Kinshuk Sharma, 6-1, 7-6 (16-14), in the second singles to give the Philippines a 2-0 victory over India.

Ralph Kevin Barte delivered the first point for the Philippines after pulling off a 6-0, 2-6, 6-4 victory over Agnel Gladwin Peter in the first singles.
