Lawyers representing suspended Pasay Mayor Wenceslao "Peewee" Trinidad, Vice Mayor Antonino Calixto and eight city councilors, yesterday urged the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to reinstate their clients following a dismissal order from the Office of the Ombudsman for graft.


Trinidad camp lawyer Rene Saguisag argued that the dismissal order was not yet final and that Trinidad, Calixto and the eight councilors should again assume office.
