Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay yesterday ordered the release of P5 million from the city government’s coffers to help the victims of typhoon Reming.


The city government and the private sector will also organize a fund raiser among Makati-based companies and employees, Binay added.

The amount raised will be announced during the Makati New Year’s Eve countdown on Ayala Avenue, in the heart of the financial district, on December 31.
