[Title] => United Nations failing to live up to its task
[Summary] => The United Nations is unquestionably the highest and most important world organization in history. Its charter clearly warmly invites all peace-loving states to join. Yet to this date, there is one country that has been trying to join the United Nations and their petition has been totally ignored. One is a Communist regime, the other is a capitalist country. The People’s Republic of China insists that there is only one China and that Taiwan is an extension of the mainland. Last December 29, the People’s Republic of China’s National People’s Congress approved the "anti-separation law" that will be submitted this month for further deliberation and approval.
