Tiziano Terzanis A Fortune-Teller Told Me found its way into my hands like a 367-page chain letter tucked between covers. It was given to me by Pats, a soul sister and one of the few people I know who has petted a dromedary in Morocco and taken a dip in a traditional bath in Hungary. She got her own copy of the book from our Aussie friend Daniel, whose penchant for languages extends from Chinese to Japanese to Cyrillic and is matched only by his fondness for travel.

[Title] => No sign of bird flu virus among wild birds
[Summary] => Based on its nationwide monitoring of wetlands, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said no sign of the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus H5N1 has been detected among migratory birds which have flocked to the country.
Virgilio Vitug, director of the DENRs Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau, said all monitoring reports submitted by the regional offices did not show unusual deaths among migratory birds.
"This means that the Philippines remains bird flu-free," he said.
