President Arroyo has approved the promotion of six senior police officials, according to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director Gen. Oscar Calderon.


Chief Superintendent Edgardo Doromal, the newly installed director of the PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, got his second star while Senior Superintendents Romeo Hilomen, Ramon Gatan, Perfecto Palad, and Maximo Calimlim obtained their first star.
