While the Provincial Regional Office has yet to end the assignments of policemen as security men of politicians, Cebu City Police director Sr/Supt. Patrociño Comendador issued last week a directive terminating all orders detailing his men to secure politicians in the city.


Comendador told The Freeman that the order was done in coordination with the Comelec's directive to withdraw all police officers securing incumbent officials, including those working as bodyguards without official orders.
