It was probably one of the most surreal and amazing experiences I’ve ever had. Snorkeling in an almost pitch-black saltwater lake, diving down in the water and not being able to see the bottom and then being surrounded by tens of thousands of glowing light pink-orange jelly fish. Most were not bigger than my palm. It scared the hell out of me in the beginning but then when I reminded myself that these were the non-poisonous kind, they immediately became my best friends for that magical moment. It was very Space Odyssey!
