                    [Title] => Fight night!
                    [Summary] => When I was in seventh grade I discovered Haight Street. The epicenter of northern Californian hippies that served as the holy land for peace, love and lots of weed. I stumbled inside a little shop with pails filled with garments, from velvet gowns to tulle skirts to ratty jeans to shirts that emblazoned the TAB soda label. At first glance, it looked like a sorry mess, but as I had enough time in my hands to burn that day, I scrounged around and quickly discovered that it was fashion paradise.

                    [Summary] => Movies are a great influence in our lives. They are a cultural mirror of society, they influence public perception, and they can sell a lot of action figures.

Former President Ferdinand Marcos recognized the importance of movies and produced a biopic which starred Luis Gonzales as Ferdinand and Gloria Romero as Imelda. Was it any surprise that he won the presidential election after the movie was shown?

Former President Joseph Estrada was a former movie actor. So are a number of politicians (Ramon and Bong Revilla, Tito Sotto, Joey Marquez, Rey Malonzo, etc.)
