Police dared yesterday Mary "Rosebud" Ong to file a formal complaint against Sen. Panfilo Lacson in connection with her accusations that the senator had a hand in yesterday’s murder of Superintendent John Campos.

"If she presents evidence and signs a statement, then we would consider it in the investigation (of the Campos gunslaying)," said National Capital Region Police Office chief Deputy Director Reynaldo Velasco.

He stressed that the police cannot conduct an investigation on mere speculations.
