[Title] => If I had my life to live over
[Summary] => That was the title of Erma Bombecks book based on her hugely popular syndicated column. The piece below, which found its way to me as one of those pass-on-to-five-people-and-something-good-will-happen-to-you emails, was written after she found out she had cancer (Bombeck died in 1996). Coming after a discussion on work-related stress (the normal state of being for those of us who work with deadlines) with my colleague Tony Paño, I thought Id pass this on, not just to five people, but to all of you.

[Title] => Legacy
[Summary] => God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Erma Bombeck wrote a column about the conflicts that sometimes occur as siblings divide family items after a parent has died. Whether its the mixing bowls, grandmas quilts, or the Christmas ornaments, people are often convinced that they alone should have a certain item. Bombeck said she never wanted a TV set or a tote bag to remember her parents, because their true legacy to her was the way they lived, not what they left behind.
