Malaking halaga na ng pera aniya ang nawawala sa mga gambling lords kaya gaganti ang mga ito sa pamamagitan nang paninira at pananakot.

Milyong piso ang maaaring ilaan ng mga gambling lords sa kampanya laban sa media at target ng mga ito ang mga reporters kabilang na ang mga columnists, at mga broadkaster ng telebisyon at radio, pahayag pa ni Marcos.
