Nothing, just a title I thought of for a painting given by Dante Perez, which original title is "Petrified Hope." Of a girl whose face is seemingly washed away by the rain, and what’s left is up to the eye of the beholder: streetlamps in the distance, dark windshields bereft of their wipers, the shadow of felled trees without a trace of Milenyo. What happens when one leaves the cake out in the rain. The slow wash of disintegration of what could be beauty.
