[Summary] => The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) clarified anew its recently announced policy on risk weighting of assets under the new risk-based capital adequacy guidelines for banks based on the Basle Committee recommen-dation.
The guidelines, which will take effect on July 1, 2001, require banks to maintain a minimum capital-to-risk assets ratio of 10 percent, the same as the current requirement, computed both on solo and consolidated basis.
