Abra Gov. Vicente Valera is now the object of a manhunt of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after he was implicated in the murder of Rep. Luis Bersamin.


But Valera, in an e-mail message, denied involvement in the murder of Bersamin and that he was in hiding, saying he was ready to cooperate in the investigation.


NBI Director Nestor Mantaring said they have to find Valera and take him into custody since the investigation into Bersamin’s murder has taken a new twist.
