[Summary] => CEBU — Roofs were ripped off, power and telephone lines fell in messy entangled wires and trees were uprooted when a tornado hit Talisay City at about 9 p.m. Saturday.
The tornado’s funnel cut through Barangays Dumlog, Nonoc, Kimba, Tabunok, Bulacao, San Isidro and Candulawan in twisting, violent rotating speeds of some 20 to 40 miles per hour (mph). No one was reported killed or seriously hurt.
Earlier that night, there was reportedly heavy rain followed by a roaring gush of wind.
