That evening, a State Dinner was given by then President Diosdado and Mrs. Eva Macapagal at Malacañang. Their Majesties’ visit included a trip to Baguio, where King Bhumibol attended a parade and review by cadets of the Philippine Military Academy. Another trip south of Manila was to the University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños.
