[Title] => Beach dream
[Summary] => Summer was over before some of us even got a taste of it. With the sudden barrage of rains, it seems like the vacations are over. Unless, of course, you count people who live in a world where summer is just beginning.
Ten years ago, football coach Mike Athab had a dream. Originally from Iraq but now firmly a part of Philippine sports, Athab saw the growing potential for beach football. They played in the rain, in the heat, and just about anywhere that they could find sand, just to promote the sport.

[Title] => Palm Sunday turns into Viernes Santo as Manny goes palpak in Las Vegas, and Schumacher kaput in K.L.
[Summary] => KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia Palm Sunday, yesterday, turned into "Good Friday" for this disappointed sports aficionado. I saw my two idols bite the dust on the same day, half a world apart.
Keeping track of two events at the same time, admittedly, is both a feat (especially in Malaysias 38 degrees celsius heat cum 90 percent humidity) and a trauma.

[Title] => A Filipino in F1?
[Summary] => If Formula Ones 2004 calendar is any indication, then Asia is motorsports hot item, racings the place to be, the seasons new black, so to fashionista speak. Thats because two Asian countries Bahrain and China will take the spots vacated by two venues that were staples in the F1 calendar. One is Montreal in Canada, where the races are held at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and named after the F1 star and late father of 97 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve. The other is Spielberg in Austria.
