All four missing are fishermen. Two of them are from the town of Madridejos, Cebu while two others are from Basay town, Negros Oriental.

The missing fishers from Madridejos have been identified as Jayson Maru and Mamerto Juliano. They reportedly went fishing last Wednesday and haven't returned home yet.
