[Title] => A New York kind of Grammy
[Summary] => Dustin Hoffman opened the show by introducing Simon & Garfunkel. The legendary duo performed Sounds of Silence, a song used in Hoffmans breakthrough film The Graduate. He said that there was no emcee for the event because the host of the Grammys this year is the City of New York. It was just as well, a host would have been superfluous in an event so loaded with talent, so aglow with stars and which was also celebrating the Grammys return to New York after five years in Los Angeles.

[Title] => More Grammy nominees
[Summary] => Here is the second part of the list of nominations for the upcoming 44th Grammy Awards. Understandably, space prevents me from putting down all of the nominees. The list can fill up an entire magazine. So for those interested in the Classical, Country, New Age, Latin, Tejano, Packaging and other categories that I am not able to include, check out the Grammy site on the net. That is where they have everything listed down.

[Title] => Santana sweeps the grammy's
[Summary] =>
Here is one more cause for mourning for fans of the Backstreet Boys. Not only
are two members of the famous boy band engaged to be married soon, the BSB also
failed to bring home any trophy from the Grammy Awards. As many were hoping and
predicting, the big winner was Santana for the album Supernatural.
The 52-year-old Mexican-born guitar virtuoso was one of the rock legends who
emerged out of Woodstock 32 years ago. Supernatural was his first album
after seven years and his first number one seller after 28 years.
